Just as I thought I’m slowly recovering my strength and energy
from my lung illness, here comes nonstop LBM and throwing up all night and
whole morning yesterday.
I drank a lot of water, yet I knew I was somehow dehydrated. Fortunately it
came to a halt by noontime. Nevertheless, it left me like a rotten veggie in that very
short while.
Not surprising since there was no food intake during that ordeal and not having enough up to this very moment. I have no idea though how I
got infected by LBM toxins.
Anyway, I’m
still weak but I’m LBM free now and hoping my very best that I’ll be in the
pink of
health come weekend.
What an ordeal you're going thru Ate Beng! Ako nanghihina just thinking about it. I hope you don't need to have another 'vacay'...'ya know. Palayasin na kasi lahat yang sakit na yan eh...sabihin mo they're not welcome anymore at overstaying na sila.
ReplyDeleteThinking of you a lot these days. I hope you get better na ASAP.
Rest. rest. rest.
Hugs. hugs. hugs.
Huling.huling.huling [ang kulit!]
Huling, ewan nga ba why these illnesses want to stick it out with me. Di na sila naawa sa 'kin!! The more I become skinny now! Ang laki na kaya ng na-lose kong weight! (Wawa na talaga ako!)
ReplyDeleteThanks for being makulit, Huling! Love it!!
Hugz and mwah!
My niece and grandmother were also suffering from LBM last week lang. It must be hard to be experiencing that kasi it causes discomfort. Yes, I hope it will get better by the time you read this :) Get well, Ate Beng!
ReplyDeleteIda, it is real discomfort to the highest level! Lol! I was already thinking of heading to the hospital again coz I'm already feeling lifeless. Thank God, I'm a lot better now. Thanks for the concern, Ida!
ReplyDeleteBe well and stay happy!
Hope you're feeling much better now, Beng! That is not fun at all. Maybe some probiotic capsules or live-culture yogurt will help you out next time. I hope you'll continue to gain strength and get back to normal. Stay healthy!
ReplyDeleteA few years ago I had that too, although I didn't have vomiting. I lost about 9 pounds and had diarrhea for 9 days straight... absolutely horrible, and I spiked a 104 F (about 40 degrees C) fever at least one day. First time in my life I think that I was actually delirious. This was during the time that the US was experiencing some serious food poisoning from E. coli contamination of packaged spinach, and I think that may have been what I had (although a lot also happens from door handles etc.). Never want to get that again!
Take care!
hope you feel better now, LBM can indeed be very draining, makes us so weak. thanks for the visit in my blog
ReplyDeleteHi Buzz L! Oh my, if I had it for less than a day and felt lifeless, what more with you if you had it for 9 days straight? Gosh! That’s indeed scary! I surmise you were confined in a hospital by that time. If not, you have endangered your life. I wonder what happened to the manufacturer of that packaged spinach?
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your similar horrible experience. Let's pray it won't happen again!
Always glad to see you here, Buzz L.! Stay well and be happy always! God bless!
Hello Bechai! It was indeed a horrifying ordeal I went through! I thank God I'm feeling well now. And thanks as well for your precious time here.
ReplyDeleteHave a fantastic day! See you around!
Hi!!!! Tita Beng
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to know that you're feeling a lot better na. When it rains it really pours (ask me about that right now), but we all know that after the rain, sunny days take over.
Sending you the warmest hugs you can imagine from sizzling hot New York. Heat wave kami dito.
Take care always.
Hello J! Haha..thanks for that title line I used. Kakagamit mo lang, ginamit ko na agad! Kasi naman, non-stop din and dating ng mga unpleasant incidents sa 'kin eh. Ano ba yan?!
ReplyDeleteSana next to come is the bright sunshine! No more rains. hehe..
GRabe talaga ang Big Apple sa extreme climates 'no. I'm sure, kaya mo yan. You're strong kasi inside and out. Be well! Hugz and mwah!
It's ok Tita Beng. I just hope you don't borrow the line too often. We don't like using that line for sure.
ReplyDeleteStay healthy.
get well soon Tita Beng!
