Papaya smoothies

The last time we went to my sister’s place in Bataan, her papaya trees were bearing lots of fruits, long and huge!  I rarely see fruit bearing trees here in the metro that’s why I always get excited when I see one.  All the fruits were green yet, but I saw a gigantic one with tint of ripeness and didn’t let it pass.(Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures of it.)  It took two more days until we were able to eat it. Half was sliced and eaten right away, the other half,  I made into smoothies. And it's oh soooo sweet!

I hope I could still find some more left on the trees when I go back there in a few days.  I couldn’t wait to make another sets of fresh and sweet papaya smoothies especially on hot summer days such as these.

Have a refreshing day, everyone!

Ay naman...peborit ko ang papaya. We used to have one in our backyard nung bata pa si Sabel...ang tamis ng bunga. Lasang papaya pa din but like the mangoes we get here...iba pa din yung nakasanayan ko dyan.

Huling

Lol!

Warm wheather pa rin dito despite some rain. Summer na summer pa rin!

Enjoy your weekend Huling!

I like papaya Ate Beng. Esp pag smoothies na. Sarap!

I miss Philippines! :)

Hi Beth! Di kaya imported from other countries din yung papaya nyo dyan? I agree with you. We're really blessed with bountiful natural resources!

Hope you can come home for a vacation soon!

Have a great week ahead! Ingat!
