Last Wednesday, July 20, another year was added to my age. Hmmn.. no stopping to wrinkles and all but am ever so grateful that I am given the chance to grow old! Ain't it that at the end, it's not the years in your life that count but the life in your years?! I praise God for all the blessings and for all the people who care!
We went out for lunch in the newly opened branch of Kowloon Restaurant in Commonwealth Ave. Thanks to hubby for always making all our birthdays a no work holiday for him. Even if there were only the three of us, (with son coz daughter couldn't make it.)they're enough to make my day. We were complete by dinner time and about to go out but it rained. Thus, the a pizza and chicken delivery. Plus the small birthday cake from daughter completes the day!
It was another simple celebration with family. Whenever it is with family, I'm more than happy!

Belated Happy Birthday!
This post took me back to my college days when my family will eat at Kowloon Makati before my parents took us to the dorm. I won't forget how good their food tasted. And it's been a long time since I've been into one.
I find it good though, having to add up another year. For us who've been through a lot, I know we wouldn't really mind adding another year onto our age.
And yes, it is a celebration of life!

Thank you Clara! We used to visit Kowloon Makati too in the early 90's. It's one good place just like the one in Timog, Q.C.
Indeed, it's good getting more years to our life especially to those who had faced extreme challenges like us. Each year that comes is always monumental!

@my post about inefficient CS here....actually, the very first person I spoke with eh Filipina rep na malamang eh based dyan...but she's not the right CS so she transferred me to another dept at duon na nagkalintik lintik yung usapan [sowwee for the choice of words]. Very frustrating talaga kasi feeling nila they know everything...and they make you feel na you're not just following their instructions. Naku talaga.
