Hearty Dinner at Peking Garden-Trinoma
Last Sunday, we had a clear day. No rain! Hooray! My vacationing MIL finally was able to go out. (She’s very cautious about getting wet by the rain.) We picked them up and went to have dinner. Hubby drove to Trinoma. Then asked where we would want to eat. When I’m in Trinoma, I only have few usual restos in mind. Those that are good ones but not too pricey. But he led us to Peking Garden, (a posh Chinese Resto,) instead, . Just for a change, according to him. We have eaten in Peking Garden in Glorietta a number of times before. And I think, that’s when I started to always crave for Peking Duck. Cravings that even in my dreams while asleep, that fave food of mine exists. Hubby perhaps had much of my nagging request for this special Chinese cuisine that’s why he brought us here.
It was a delightful dinner, no doubt about it! Although the bill we paid was quite enormous for the number of dishes we had, there's no regret. Even if the price of Peking Duck keeps going up, (now priced 2,200.00 php for a whole that we had) I think I’d still be coming back here, though not as frequent as I want to for they sure would drain hubby's wallet. Lol! Eating in Peking Garden is like eating in a fine Resto in Hongkong. Allow me to declare that this is "The Best Local Chinese Restaurant"! Well, that’s as far as I’m concerned. To each his own! Right?
P.S. Just google search Peking Garden-Trinoma for better photos to appreciate the place.

Dhemz, oo nga eh, sobrang kamahal ng pato dito! hehe.. nainggit tuloy ako sa yo. Dami kamong pato sa likod bahay nyo?! At di mo sila pinapakialaman?? Lol!
Alright, you can take the noodles, but once you've tried the their peking duck, you'll surely keep asking for more! Lol!
Always glad to see you here Dhemz!
Oh I like Peking duck too. 2,200 per
whole duck? Ano yan peking duck that lays golden egg? hehehe
Here, the half duck costs 18 dollars. Cheap pa rin for an exchange rate of 42 pesoses per dollar. Baka naman hindi ito from Peking. Baka Peke or pike ( bowlegged).
If i don't find the peking duck, I order the game chicken cooked like Peking duck.
I can use the bones as toothpick pa.

Hello Cathy! Nice to know that you love Peking Duck too! At least it's cheaper there, kahit konti lang. Ewan ba what makes it so pricey here. Baka yung customs tax.. but if I know, e galing lang yung ducks nila sa Victoria, Laguna. hehe..
Thanks for the visit and the precious comment. Have a nice day and ingat!
I eat peking duck but not as much as my voracious husband who loves it. never been to Trinoma Tita B. this was one place to see on my list when we were there but hindi namin nagawa.
hope your world is free from rain today.
But as you've mentioned, your husband loves it too. And knowing he's also a gourmet like you, e di bongga din ang taste ko!! wink!
Having lots of rains again here!
Have a nice day J!

Halu, Ate Beng!
I missed Peking Duck! We ate one sa Macau dun sa Tower and we bought it sa market! Ang sarap talaga!!! Our friend in Macau bought us one peking duck each pasalubong daw namin paguwi. Ang bait no?
Oh gosh, those really looks mouth watering TitaB. Natatawa nga ako everytime we see geese here kasi sabi ni hubs, if these a5re in the Philippines, they would capture them and make them as pulutan. He knows those stuff as his Filipino coworkers told him hehehehe..
Dhemz, bad ako 'no?! Mang-uubos ng ducks. hehe.. how about yung eggs nila, san sila nagle-lay? Buti walang predator na tulad ko! hihi..
tnx again Dhemz!
