I mess up my blog
I think I made the biggest blunder in my blogging activity. With little knowledge on the consequences of shifting from blogspot to own domain, I have no idea where I went wrong that advertising offers become totally extinct. The decision to shift was prompted by the hope that it would increase the paid opp tasks I am getting. But what did I get instead? Zilch ad offers! Even the adsense on my home page are all gone! Omg!! I have a feeling the Url Feeds and SEO’s have something to do with it. Not sure though. I can’t even trace my google feed. Ouch! Well, I know I can find it in the net. I just need to be patient. I have mentioned over and over that I am not a techy person. Hence, it’s taking much of my time to find where actually the error lies. If only I knew that this would be the result, I should have not even dare think of the dot com thingy!
In the meantime, you gotta bear with me and my laziness. When will this blog come back to its old active life? I hope and I pray .... it'll be soon!

Getting your own domain is a good move Tita, however due to that your PR decreased which caused ads to come lesser.

I don't see much change...your PR is still 2/10. Where did you buy your domain name? I got mune from Go Daddy which links up to blogger...so the transition was effortless :)) Don't worry, I 'm sure you'll get your blog up and running in no time!

Hey! First thing you need to do is completely get rid of Google Friend Connect - it is no longer being supported - and could be blocking you rblog from being "discovered" by search engines - since you have it so HIGH up on your landing page, the searchbots see "Google Friend Connect" as a feature associated with old blogs that haven't been updated since 2011.
#2 - that "total visitors" widget above your "live traffic feed" also needs to go - search engines do not like it for some reason!
#3 move "Proudly Pinoy" ABOVE the "about me" section - the blogging gurus harp a lot about "about me" but what they DON'T tell you is that it better serves you and your blog when it is displayed LOWER on your page.
Hope these suggestions result in immediate improvements!
PS - once you accomplish this, go toa friend's house or internet cafe and SEARCH for your own blog, in Google and Bing, like this:
"I mess up my blog" beng-gee.com
That should help the searchbots shed the "blogspot" when they visit they'll see NO friend connect, so they won't stop indexing your pages!
unfortunately i can't be of much help about that. after about a year of being active in my blog, i only earned a measly $19, ha ha ha.. anyway, comments from readers rather than earning, give me more fulfillment, at the moment, ha ha ha

@merlmd: shameful to say but I forgot the web host that blogger has automatically linked this blog to. You see, I just kept clicking until I was brought to my own domain. Lol. The transition is truly that effortless! Yeah, probably no need to worry cos I just found a task in my inbox a while ago. What a relief!

I've been blogging for more than four years now with my first blog on another web host but unfortunately the said web host is closing down soon, along with it goes my first blog! Sigh! I whined about the web host before but I must admit that it gave me a lot of earnings somehow. And I acknowledge, I owe them a lot!
I agree, there's fulfillment in getting comments from readers, but earning few bucks is another thing.
About blog traffic, well, maybe getting an Entrecard Widget helps as well as blog hopping once in a while. Actually,I'm still on a hit and miss style of blogging. Anything goes. Lol!
