Bacolod Chicken - Matalino: Serves Almost Anything but Pork

Every time we come around the vicinity of City Hall and NKTI in Quezon City, we usually drop by in this  simple but comfy place in Matalino St. , the Bacolod Chicken.    Like the time when we frequent NKTI for DH’s check-ups, we had the moment to enjoy our favorite fare here, the Chicken Inasal.  There are many Chicken Inasals in town but  Bacolod Chicken Inasal  has a distinct taste.  Perhaps it’s the special kind of vinegar.  I don’t know.  I just like the taste more!  And the top reason why I love Bacolod Chicken is that they serve almost any kind of delicious Filipino food cooked from  all kinds of meats and veggies except… Pork!  Yes, that’s what I like in them. Their La Paz Bachoy is made from beef meat and broth unlike other Bachoys around which use pork ingredients.   Also they serve our fave sisig and they offer it in various kind. . bangus sisg,  chicken sisig,  beef sisig..   Well, I can say I like everything they offer in Bacolod Chicken.  From  Chicken Inasal to their tasty desserts like special Turon.

Have an enjoyable weekend everyone!

Mas masarap ba siya kesa sa Mang Inasal? Before I came here, I got so addicted to Mang Inasal e.

Hello Bong! Glad to see you here again. You did surprise me! Musta na?

About the Zamboanga Chicken, haven't noticed it in Timog. No idea though, if it still exist.

Sorry for my late reply. Spent the last 8 days in the hospital. Kaya di palagi maka-online.

Thank for dropping by, Bong! See you around!

Hello J! If you would notice my reply to Huling, I was already somewhat suffering from what I thought as Asthma. But it turned out something else.

Glad everything's A-okay now. Thank God! Hoping it's same with you.

Kumusta Beng Gee!

Wow, this looks masarap! We just arrived in Cebu a few days ago, so of course we're eating some great Pinoy food we can't get back home. I am going to have to look to see if they have Bacolod Chicken here (probably in one of the malls). I definitely want to take the family out to try their chicken inasal. All the best to you and your family. Sorry to hear you were in the hospital, but glad to hear you're feeling better from your respiratory symptoms. Take care and hope you'll continue to feel better.

Hi Buzz L.! Welcome back to the Philippines! Hope you are enjoying your stay in the country and Pinoy food as well. There's a great possibility that you can find Bacolod Chicken in Cebu. I'm sure you're family will like it too!

Thanks for the visit and the well wishes! Give my regards to your family.
