Snack time at Ma Mon Luk

Amongst the many noodle houses in Quezon City, Ma Mon Luk is one of the oldest.  I remember having gone there once back in my college days.  (Don’t ask the year. Lol! It was many decades past).  Weeks ago, hubby and I accidentally passed by the place while looking for a snack.  The food offered hasn’t changed much.  Mami and Siopao is the most saleable treat.  We ordered a pair for hubby and pancit canton for me plus beef siomai.   I think they aren’t as appetizing anymore like the olden days.  But at least our hunger was relieved.  If I have to rate the food we had from 1 to 5, 5 being the highest, I’d give them a 3.  Just average it is. Well, Ma Mon Luk has seen better days.  And those days are apparently gone!

Thanks for dropping by.  Have a great weekend everyone!

Hi Noel!
Oh, thanks for that trivia. I think I also have heard of that before. It's probably true kasi very Pinoy ang mami eh.

Salamat sa pagdalaw! Ingat!

Wow Ma Mon Luk, this was my favourite eatery during my college days, Love their mami and siopao. The serving is hefty as well, I usually eat the mami together with the siopao sauce drenched over the noodles. You bring back a lot of memories.
