Hainanese Delights - One nice eating place

If there’s one restaurant in SM Fairview that I regret not having tried right after it has opened many months ago, it is Hainanese Delights. The place is nice and cosy though not that spacious.  I really do regret overlooking this simple nook coz I hve long been missing the Hainanese Chicken of Singapore. We happened to stop by and get inside the place for one quick afternoon meal only because my son Luigi wanted some steaming hot noodles  He ordered a bowl of Tender Beef Tendons Noodles and the ever missed Hainanese Chicken for me. The food we had was exactly like those of Singapore except that the Hainanese Chicken here is made even more delightful for rice lovers by serving it with unlimited Hainanese rice. The initial rice serving is just enough for me though.  Luigi would have been very happy with that if only he didn’t order noodles. Noodles don’t come with unli-rice (haha.. but of course!)

With the good food, good service and very affordable price, Hananese Delights is worth coming back!

Thanks for taking time to drop by. Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

oh, the famous singapore chicken rice. it's one of my favorites and one of the first dishes i introduced to my ex-girlfriend (who happens to be my wife now) and she loved it. i first discovered about 20 years ago in singapore when i had to take a 2- month seminar. be it in the school cafe or a hawker centre, i am sure to have it at least twice a week.

unfortunately, i can't find a good and inexpensive chicken rice house near our place. dipping it in ginger, chili and soy sauce is pure delight. i also love the char siew.

happy weekend beng :)

We were dine just this afternoon in one of the restos in SM Megamall, pero it's quite far from the real Singaporean cuisine. pero pede na rin, dahil mganda ang place, not crowded at I was with my someone! hehe.. nudles is good too.

@Batangala: Hehe.. sa hawkers centre nga namin first time natikman ito e.
Haha.. kaya pala mabilis naging ex, kasi naging misis na dahil sa pinatikim mong chicken rice!
This Singaporean fare is really a hit for me! Super like. hehe..

Hope you're having nice family bonding weekend Noel!

@Mitch: Didn't know they have a branch in MOA. I guess, shallow lang ang standard ng taste buds ko. Lol! Enjoy na kasi ako sa version dito. Anyways, you had fun naman coz you're with your lovey dovey eh.

Thanks for the visit Mitch!

This is very healthy and I love the other dishes they offer especially the wanton soup :D

By the way, Sambokojin has 3 branches. I highlighted in red the restaurant in the hope that the readers would click it, hihihi.

Here is the link of the restaurant. Enjoy!

@Angsarap.net: I like it too but I just wonder if the Beef Tender Tendons of Hainanese Delight can be at par with your special kind of cooking Raymund. Ang sasarap kasi ng mga nilluluto mo!

Thanks for the visit.

@Farida: I haven't tried their wanton soup yet but I'm Glad you have been to one of their places.

Thanks for the Sambokojin link Farida! Quite pricey but by looking at the food they offer, seems like it's worth it.

Stay beautiful and happy as always!

@PinayWAHM: Oo nga! Simpleng food lang kasi but tasty. Not much of this kind of resto around here. (Or di ko lang napupuntahan pa).

Oh, nice to know there's another Hainanese Delights in that area. Not surprising if your girls didn't choose chicken rice. I love Tokyo, Tokyo too!

I hope everythings fine, as always!
