High in Boracay

Hello! I’m back to resume my Boracay post as promised though a little late than expected.  Nevertheless, I still feel the high of Boracay even after many days had passed by.

As mentioned in the previous post, we only dropped our luggage at the hotel then went walking around.  I was initially disappointed but the discontent turned to awe as the quiet morning turns to an active day.  .  I saw lots of Americans or could they be Europeans? (I’m not good in distinguishing one from the other though), Koreans, Japanese, Chinese and other nationals flood the streets. You would have thought that you are in other Asian country if not for the local tourists and entrepreneurs.

Drained by the long walk from Station 2 to 1, we took a rest at Jonas’.  It’s a popular eating place there (according to daughter). Not surprising coz they serve good fresh fruit shakes and other snacks. We ordered four different flavors, burgers and fires.  For our first lunch we had grilled chicken, grilled pork, grilled fish, eggplant salad et al.  .. and it was in  ... none other than  .. Tada! ..Mang Inasal!!  Lol!

We went back to the hotel came check-in time and had a power nap for a while.  Everybody were down considering that we almost didn’t sleep the past night due to the early flight.  ‘Twas already late in the afternoon when we came out of our dug out.  The heavenly beach is now packed with tourists of various nationalities clad in sexy bikinis and daring swim suits.

Sunset is gorgeous in Boracay!  Evenings are even more exciting.  I supposed it’s the best time in Boracay as  everybody’s everywhere, .. on the beach, and in  in every nook and crannies of the island.  Various dining places are set out on the beach.  We had our buffet dinner on one by our hotel.  Php279/pax isn’t bad for a number of very filling good food plus juice drinks.

I know I have acrophobia, but I realized I could combat the fear for the sake of fun.  Hence, I went with the kiddos when they went parasailing on early Friday morning.  (who said I’m an oldie for such kind of adventure? Haha.. wait till you see this “young once” mom in another fun ride).  It was truly an extremely high experience for me. No regrets for the Php350/pax we paid for.  A bit of advice for those who want to try adventures offered in the island. Don’t bite the price at once.  You can always haggle for the best price.

In the afternoon, the kiddos set out for another adventure and I joined in again (but of course!).  This time, we went to Ocean View Tower, the best place to view the whole scenery of Boracay,  in an ATV or the All-Terrain-Vehicle.   We could choose from an ATV or a Buggy which can accommodate 2 persons but chose to get an ATV for each. Obviously, no one wanted to just be a passenger.  Where’s the fun in it anyway?!

The DH as usual, chose to stay behind and continued to work with paper works and his laptop he brought along with him. Then sneaked out for some bottles of beer all on his own while we were away.  Oh yeah!  Fun is spelled B-E-E-R sometimes.  Or should I say, oftentimes, for him. Well ... well!

As has been said, evenings are more exciting in Boracay!   With the glittering colorful lights, fireworks in the sky, lively music by countless performers everywhere , everyone appears to be ecstatic.  Without doubt, Boracay is genuinely a party place.

These are only few of the  fun moments we had in Boracay.  More to share on my next post.

Glad that you find time reading this post.  Whether it's your first time here or you are a constant visitor, thank you so much for your time!  I hope to see you again.

Take care and God bless!

The landscape of Boracay's White Beach changes as soon as the sun sets. Boracay's nightlife is one of a kind in the Philippines. Glad you enjoyed your stay here.

Hello Ayu,
Glad to see you here. Yes, Boracay is beautiful just like your famous island, Bali. Read many good write-ups about that lovely Indonesian island. I dream of seeing it too.

Thank you for your time here Ayu! See you around.

Ay naku Huling, naiinis nga yung mga bata at ayaw mag-join yung ama nila! Alam mo naman ako, feeling bagets all the time. haha.. Sayang yung moment pag di ko na-experience yung mga adventures na di ordinary.

See, pati pala ang Kuya mo like din nya ang Mang Inasal. It's good naman kasi e, tapos mura pa. Ayaw nga ni Tom e. Dumayo pa daw kami ng Boracay para sa Mang Inasal. Kj!

Salamat ulit sa dalaw Huling! Have a great weekend!
