The worst ever

Countless times, I made an effort to update this blog since the last post.  But each time, I only end up with nothing.  This is the worst time I had, as I feel so worn-out physically, mentally and emotionally.  My body aches, my mind is empty and I'm drowning in self-pity!  Hmmn.. ahh.. err.. oh well!
.

I hope to get out of this labyrinth soon.  I trust that you will  bear with me!
Take care and stay safe everyone!

Over fatigued?

I wasn’t feeling well when I got out of bed yesterday morning.  It wasn’t at all normal for me not to have appetite especially for breakfast. I used to consume 3 or 4 pieces of pandesal bread  with mayo and cheese, sometimes with corned beef and egg together with a mug of creamed coffee.  But yesterday was totally different.  I wanted to eat but I only got a bite and that’s it.  I was starving but couldn’t force myself to munch.  Despite the not so good feeling, I had to work on the heaping pile of laundry coz if not, I’d be buried in a mountain of soiled clothes.  I finished the coloured ones but the minute I’m done I left it to the big kiddos for them to take charge of spinning and hanging it to dry. And I dragged my body to rest.  Lunch and dinner were the same, still no appetite. The more I felt losing energy.  Tried to ingest a spoonful or two, but I only threw it up.  Good thing, I felt a li'l better today.  I’d rather take my time today than seriously face the tasks ‘round here.  I ain’t got a robotic body!  But even so, machines do breakdown too! Right?  What more of me!

Got to fix my mood

(photo not mine)
I miss going to RJ Bistro at Dusit Thani Hotel in Makati City.  All I want now is to listen to Ramon Jacinto’s music of the 60’s and the 70's.  Yes, it may only be four months ago when we last visited the place with an old pal.  But unluckily, it wasn’t RJ’s band scheduled then but a band of youngsters with sexy young crooners belting out some unfamiliar pop songs.  Oh, they weren’t bad!  I did enjoy them too.  It’s just that I wanna listen to some RJ’s music, live!

Unfortunately, the husband here can't make it tonight. He begged to move it next week.  I might as well just carry my bowling ball and aim hard to hit the head pins for a strike then ultimately releasing the frustration brewing inside me. It would be just as entertaining, right?

Alright!!  I gotta go now to prepare for the waiting bowling lanes.  Brb!

Dead tired

Yeah, so dead tired from the various chores I was regularly doing lately. I still feel my lower back aches and my hand feeling a certain pain specifically on my right thumb. I only wanted to rest the whole day today but couldn't do. There are still a lot to be done and no one will do it for me. My maid is yet on vacation. My right thumb is almost numb from the daily routine and even as I strike this lappy's key board, I could feel pain in my wrist down to my thumb. I suppose, I gotta go and retire for bed now. I only wanna do some updating here after days of disappearance.

Goodnight everyone! Keep smiling!

Please help!

What would you do if there’s a branded handbag you are badly obsessed with? Buy it? Would you still buy it even if the price is overwhelmingly luxurious for you? Say, $1.5K to $2K which is more or less P75K to P100K if converted to peso. Well maybe, it’s only chicken feed to some of you. Unfortunately not for me!

But what if… you found an almost perfect clone for the price of only P7K and still can get it for a discounted price of P5K. What would you do? Grab or would you still ignore? There’s no question about the quality. As I've said, it’s almost perfect if only for the color which is slightly darker compared to the original. But I’m confident, for those who are not too intensely familiar with the original one won’t notice it at all, not even the embossed logo that happened to be vaguely bigger. Other than those unnoticeable disparities, all is well. …It has the serial no. found inside the bag, accompanied with a protective bag cover and the card with instruction on how to care for it.

Taking all considerations, the fact that it is still a pirated thing,, a copycat, a fake, a replica, an imitaition or whatever you want to call it,. ....is it worth buying? I chuckle as I mull over this confusion. By the way, the cheaper clone is still pricey compared to the unbranded handbags found in big malls but super great deal compared to the original. Now, I'm seeking your opinion. Should I follow my obsessed heart or be guilty and just let it go? Can you please help me decide?!
